KNOCKING OUT BREAST CANCER: 2012

Our 2012 “Knocking Out Breast Cancer” event helped raise money for the Barbara Bates Foundation’s Institutional Grant on Disparity and Education of Breast Cancer. This grant will serve to educate and address the disparities in breast cancer care faced by women in the African American and Latino communities.

The event featured 50 breast cancer survivors modeling a special collection of fashions designed by Barbara Bates Designs. Guests heard stories of women who have risen above the odds as they proudly strutted their stuff in Barbara’s latest creations.
